Code 41 - CD ROM no longer working
Now I cannot install CD/DVD oms. I keep getting errors -unable to load drivers- code 39. I am stuck with no way to use my CD drive and hence unable to repair/reintall any programme including XP. I have good internet connection. Can I download a fix from someone or ?? Thanks. TA.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing no luck. If I go into the properties and look at device status I have the following message Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
